inventory with your Inventory Professional
The first thing you think of when someone is coming to your home is I need to clean….well you don’t. This is your home and you’re busy. Our job is to make sure what is important is on the video, not how clean your home looks.
All electronics including televisions, stereos, computers, printers, i-pods, phones and appliances, along with any small appliances should be ready to pull out in order to video and document serial numbers. Any receipts showing purchase amounts and dates of purchase, model numbers and serial numbers are also sufficient for documentation. These can be scanned for permanent documentation.
With the Standard Inventory, closets & drawers should be accessible with clothing and other items ready to video. We do respect your privacy and only video items you request. Expensive clothing, shoes, purses and coats are items to document. Attic and storage areas should be fairly organized that we may video items. We do not open boxes or containers.
Garages and basements should also be neat and organized for documentation. Any tools must be easy to access along with tools in drawers . Again serial numbers will be recorded and receipts will be scanned. Vehicles, trailers and mowers on premises will also be recorded. If you indicate anything off premise, this will need to be scheduled and an appointment set.
Special collection:
Jewelry, china, flatware and special collections that are requested will be done as a group unless otherwise noted. China / flatware will have 1 place setting videoed & a notation of how many place settings will be put on record. Any appraisals can be scanned so please have these ready. Also insurance information such as company name & phone number and agents name and phone can be included in report.
Once the pre-inventory visit is completed any additional notations will be made so that we include all items for your video inventory.
We value your time and will try our utmost to complete your inventory in a timely manner.
